Hidden Gem

The hidden gem that is human is unpolished and uncut in the beginning.

This gem is the best of mankind, the spirit, the Buddha Nature.

I want to improve myself in life. This change that I seek in life starts with the idea that I deserve it.

I must learn to forgive myself for my past and start over, start fresh. As long as I breathe, I deserve the highest change.

I may not be perfect, but that is ok. After I realize I deserve change, I must develop the faith that I can actually change.

This is important because I believe I self-sabotage my path to liberation.

I may not follow through because I may think I am unworthy or incompetent.

Maybe I’ve lost my confidence from failures, maybe I experienced trauma that holds me down.

If I am aware that something in my life needs to be changed for the higher good, then I have already started the path.

My hidden gem in me is my innate ability for ultimate wisdom and liberation.

I have faith in myself, and if I fail, I pick myself up and have faith again. I will be stubborn in the face of folly.

I keep trying for that higher self in every situation I may encounter. A diamond is hard, but it needs to be cut and polished to shine.

I must temper my awareness of self-defeating thoughts and actions.

I must find any trauma in my past and address it, for the body does not forget. I will be patient with myself even when I may fail.

I Love myself and others, for everyone has a hidden gem, just look for the sparkle.
